BMW-Park Lane showroom was the first major dealer in the UK to add a well-known classical company's Services Division of his repertoire.
Service, which was a huge success in Germany, gives owners of classic cars from the BMW parts to keep their cars on the road.

"Catalogue of BMW Classic is being expanded to 34,000 units, covering a wide range of cars starting with 1930. BMW Classic can offer more parts for cars more than ever before, and this new service makes them more affordable and accessible "said Toby Partridge, manager of BMW Park Lane.
"In theory, if there is sufficient demand for it, BMW Classic can fabricate any part for any car BMW. BMW takes its heritage seriously and BMW Classic is a service that we feel very privileged to be able to offer," added Partridge.
To celebrate the launch of BMW Classic in London, Salon Park Lane is currently home to 10 known models from the back catalog of the company, including 3 / 15 PS 1930, and later 328, 2002 Tii and Z8.
Also presented are the M1 supercar, and the legendary M3, as in the E30 and E46 CSL guises.
"For a start, we chose a combination of cars, which reflect the rich heritage of the company - and the cars that excite us," said Partridge. "We struggled to think of an event in the UK, where so many iconic BMW were in the same place and at the same time."
On display in the BMW-Park Lane until Tuesday 19 October and there is more information available at Salon's.

New to the ContactMe Dashboard: A Daily Agenda

As I’m sure you know, your ContactMe dashboard features a “Recent Activity” feed that lists everything you’ve done (e.g., “You updated contact details for Diego Hernandez…1 day ago”).  It’s great to know what you’ve done, but it’s probably more important to know what you need to do. To that end, we enhanced the dashboard to include your daily agenda, which now sits above your activity feed.

What the Agenda Contains. The agenda gives you an overview of your upcoming appointments, events, and tasks. One glance and you’ll know what lies ahead. The more tasks, appointments, and calendar events you add into the system, the richer your agenda becomes. The agenda is a great time-saver, because you no longer have to rack your brain each morning to make a to-do list.
Mobile Access. If you don’t typically log onto a computer each morning, no worries! Your daily agenda is also emailed to you, which means you can access it by computer, laptop, or smartphone.
Additional Convenient Notifications. And while we’re on the subject of mobile access, have you checked out the ContactMe Notifications page? It’s where you can set your preferences for receiving emails or text messages containing:
  • the daily agenda
  • task reminders
  • calendar event reminders
  • new contact notifications
Receiving contact information for new leads while you’re on the go is especially valuable from a lead-conversion standpoint, because you can respond to new inquiries while they are still piping hot.
On the Horizon. Lastly, we want to let you know that we have a special new feature in the works that will help you stay on top of the ping-pong game that is part and parcel of business communication. You know how easy it is to forget whether it’s your turn to respond to a customer, or the customer’s turn to get back to  you? This new feature will help you keep track of the back-and-forth, and will prompt you when it’s your turn—or when enough time has lapsed that you need to be proactive. Stay tuned!
