This, of course, cheering news for fans of Nollywood stars and abounds actor, Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as "Aki", which recently passed a successful operation for acute appendicitis. Aki, who spent close to one week for the revival of a hospital bed, was fired and given a clean bill of health to continue with their lives and careers.
Aki, which is unquestionably one of the biggest names in Nollywood, is resting at home in his Ogba residence, surrounded by several family members and friends, and resume work as soon as he fully recovers. Uzoakoli, Abia State-born theater, reportedly rushed to hospital Isalu on Wempco Road, Ogba, Lagos, on Saturday evening by some family members and friends, including his twin brother, acting, Osita Iheme (Pawpaw).
"On arrival on Saturday night, Aki immediately recognized, and then wheeled into the theater in the wee hours the next morning, when one of Dr. Charles David, consultant surgeon, successfully performed the operation," said a family member. Confirming the story, several awards actor, who spoke on the phone, said he could not thank God enough for saving his life. "Sincerely, thank God that the whole operation went well, I'm full of gratitude and praise to God for me to finish.
I also thank my family and friends who rushed me to hospital and was equally awake around, praying fervently for me. I also thank my fans and colleagues who have been called. "
